Kyrene de los Niños
Site Base Council Minutes

Purpose
The concept of Site Councils is based on the belief that the individual school, in most cases, is the most manageable and influential unit for building a quality instructional program. In Kyrene, school based collaboration via site councils is designed to maximize the learning of each student through quality school-level decision making. By placing significant decision making authority at each school, parents, teachers, support staff, and school administrators will directly impact their school's learning environment and academic success.

Mission
The mission of our school’s Site Council is multi-faceted. Site Council meetings provide a forum for communications between parents, staff and community. The Niños Site Council (NSC) establishes school improvement goals and monitors progress towards these goals. As a cohesive unit, the NSC helps guide decisions, honor accomplishments, and facilitate future endeavors that enrich the school community. The NSC works to bring the community together in creating an environment that reflects our commitment to our students.
