  Sadness

Sadness is a dark lonely cage,
No place to run, no place to hide.

It makes you feel hollow and empty inside,
It pierces your heart with a dark bulue arrow,
That makes you feel unloved and forgotten by all

But what can sweep my sadness away?
Only a friend who comes along and comforts you in your cries
Reminds you of the fantastic joys of life,
And releases you from the dark lonely cage of sadness.

Purple

Purple is a crayon marking its way through the paper,
It's a grape bursting into flavored water as you bite through it,
Purple is a juicy plum getting slit open as you take a bite 1 by 1,
Its an eraser taking away mistakes from the past,
Purple is grape juice slithering down your throat giving it a cold welcome,
It's a book being flipped by page non stop
Purple seeks throughout corners,
And you, not knowing where it will be found next.

Pink

She is a beautiful rose,
swaying in the spring breeze,
She is the warm sweater of a child,
playing in Winter's snow,
She is the butterfly of dream,
fluttering through the minds of many,
She is a heart of a caring person,
being loving to everyone,
Pink is a color of love and beauty,
That makes the Earth so grand
