(No Parent Left Beind) University Workshops please note that all are welcome to attend any workshop that may be of  interest to you.  Please call to register with Kay Cosner at the number listed below.

“Give It Up”  Date/Time:  Thursday, February 7, 2008    5:30-8:00 p.m. Pizza & Workshop

                              Location:    Marcos de Niza High School-Room 255 & 259       Presenter(s):   Cathie Belcher-Life Coach

Description: Through one-on-one exchange, participants are taught to rid themselves of their old stories and old

responses to  those stories, and start with a clean slate.  From that vantage point, they can create a future

different from any  they’ve ever imagined.

                          “Word Power” Date/Time:   Thursday, February 21, 2008       5:30-8:00 p.m. Pizza & Workshop                                                                   Location:  Marcos de Niza High School-Room 255 & 259    Presenter(s): Cathie Belcher-Life Coach

Description: This workshop shows us how seeing our problems as habits instantly grant us power, and for a simple

reason: habits can be changed.  If depression, lack of energy and/or low self-esteem is the result of genetics, personality

or culture, then there’s probably not much we can do about them.  However, if these problems and many others are simply habits, then there is much we can do about them!  Changing these parts of our lives can be as simple as changing a habit.

Thank You Governor Napolitano!

Once again this year Governor Napolitano’s office gave a book to every 1st and 4th grader in the State of Arizona.  Our Niños first graders received a copy of The Gingerbread Cowboy by Janet Squires, and our 4th graders received Grand Canyon:  Exploring a Natural Wonder by Wendell Minor.
