March 21st, 3:30 pm in the Library.

Thank You Thank You Thank You

The PTO would like to thank the following individuals: Terri Preston and Alison Deli for their work on fund raising, Janice Kwiecinski and Renee Guerrerro for making the Family Reading program a big success, Mila Parrish for bringing the Enrichment Program to Monte Vista, and Cheryl Brown for creating a festive Holiday Lunch for the Teachers and staff. Also a big thank you to everyone who has helped out in these and all of the many PTO sponsored programs.

The Fall Dance, in November, was great fun and very well-attended. The Marines collected four large boxes of toys from Monte Vista families, for their Toys For Tots program; 5th Grade Celebration sold desserts from a chocolate fountain; there were prizes and dance contests; and as always, Matt the DJ did a great job. Cindy Collins, chairperson for the event, would like to thank: 5 & Diner, 5th Grade Celebration, Lydia Chikos, Laura Dawson, Kelly & Brian Milbourn, Matt the DJ, Linda Moulton, Student Council, Sally Rath, Jeff & Lisa Tendick and all parents who provided goodies and helped with the chocolate fountain. And a big thank you goes out to all the teachers and staff who dropped by.
