~ Fifth Grade Suggested Supply List ~

Dear Parents:

The following is a recommended supply list for our fifth grade classes. We certainly appreciate your help in purchasing some or all of these items. Many of these supplies can be purchased at a low cost at the Dollar Store, Wal-Mart or Target. Please do not put your child’s name on the items that have an asterisk next to them. These items will be used as a community supply. Please keep the supplies simple and plain. Thank you.

* (5) Plain Pocket Folders with 3 ring prongs inside (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Purple)

* (2) Composition Books (Black & White books with sewn binding)

* (6) Glue Sticks

* (2-4) Boxes of Kleenex Tissues

* Pencils (regular and mechanical)

* (2) Red Correcting Pens

* (2) Packages of Wide Rule Lined Three Hole Punched Paper

* Highlighters

* Eraser Caps

* Dry Erase Markers (minimum 2) **Expo Low-Odor markers are preferred**

Clean Tube Sock (used to erase white boards)

Zippered Pencil Pouch (No Pencil Boxes Please)

Scissors

Crayons

Colored Pencils

Markers (No Sharpies or permanent markers)

Ruler (12 inch Wood or Hard Plastic)
