F is for Friction
In this particular story I think that the conflict is between the animals and nature. Throughout this story, the animals struggle to gain suitable food and nourishment. It took great initiative and endurance to survive. This is why this is the friction of the story. If the animals were not to survive, then there would be no story at all.

I is for Ideal
The Incredible Journey is a very personal story because it teaches about surviving, cooperation, and what it takes to live outside of your usual surroundings. In the book, the three animals had to work together to get back home safe. If one of them betrayed on another, someone could get hurt. I think the message of the story is that love and caring can lead you the way because in the story they had enough love for each other, their owner, and their environment, that they were able to make it home.

C is for Characters
The characters are a smart Siamese cat known as Tao, who hunts and once saved the Terriers life, an old terrier called Bodger who barely makes the trip, and young, independent Labrador named Luath. These are characters where if they were people I would admire them, because as I have said, this journey took so many life skills. These characters I think demonstrate hope, willingness, courage, endurance and so many more important things. I also would say that these characters defiantly play a big role in developing the message in this story. The author gets the message out through them.

T is for Title
The title of this store defiantly has significance. The word incredible is in the title describing the how amazing it was these three animals were able to do such a magnificent thing. Journey, of course is a word telling that this is an adventurous book. The whole story is based on three pets living through a big adventure trying to get home. It talks a lot about the way the animals react to the situations they are put in. For example, when Bodger collapses during their journey, he, of, course, is in deep pain. The problem is that Bodger is a dog, so he is going to react in a different way. In addition, when Tao comes in to stay with Helvi, the Finnish girl, he reacts in a different way rather than a human would.

I is for Imitate
The whole story is based on three pets living through a big adventure trying to get home. It talks a lot about the way the animals react to the situations they are put in. For example, when Bodger collapses during their journey, he, of, course, is in deep pain. The problem is that Bodger is a dog, so he is going to react in a different way. In addition, when Tao comes in to stay with Helvi, the Finnish girl, he reacts in a different way rather than a human would.

O is for Organization
This book mostly went sequentially. The full book was told in narrator's point of view, and there was very rare dialogue. This surprised me, because when went back and thought about it seemed as if it should have been the other way around. I liked that there was not any events that I thought didn't fit in with the story.

N is for New or Novel
I'd say that this book is novel because three animals use life skills to overcome the forces of their surroundings. This book is different because the leading roles are taken by animals yet it is still a realistic fiction book. I think there are many different things about The Incredible Journey. One of those things is the way she wrote it. Her flowery language and good description helps the reader create their own little picture.  We become afraid of the environment that surrounds the pets. We are concerned how there are many different things and humans they meet. It would be scary to be in their shoes when they meet up with strangers on their journey.
