| What do
inventive geniuses have in common? We are Mrs. Sunda's Gifted Resource Class at Brisas
Elementary School, and we researched the lives of nineteen inventors and innovators. We
discovered that these creative minds all started with a vision and shared the traits of
initiative, dedication, hard work, problem-solving, courage, and perseverance. These
great men and their ideas have changed the world and the way we live our lives. Not only
have their inventions touched every aspect of our daily living, but their personal
qualities can be an inspiration for all.
Come stand on the
shoulders of these giants of science and technology, and take a peek into the their lives.
When you are finished, check out our How to Be an Inventor section.
We have written poems about "how to be" each one of these nineteen inventive
geniuses. See if you can guess the identity of each inventor. Also, if you are interested
in reading some of inspirational words by these great minds, visit our Inventors' Quotes page. |
