| History is sprinkled with the
legacies of a few unique and courageous individuals: writers, artists, explorers,
statesmen. We researched thirteen famous people in an attempt to prove the hypothesis "People who achieve enduring fame are those who dare to be
different." We did discover these great achievers
truly were different from many in the society of their times. When comparing their
personality traits, we also noted many reoccurring characteristics such as courage,
risk-taking, a passion for their work, and a strong determination. So what contributes to a person's achievement of greatness? Look over our chart (it's quite large so scroll over to view it all) and draw your own conclusions! Then read our analyses of how these great individuals earned their enduring fame. After you read our essays, test your knowledge of famous quotations made by these thirteen "Images of Greatness". |
