Everyone had peace in their minds….
But I was wrong.

Everyone thought the world was perfect…

Everyone felt peace was perfect and the right solution…
But I was wrong.

The world was just about to become just right…
But I was wrong.
I thought…
violence had long been left behind…
But I was wrong.
I thought…
Osama bin Laden had lost his hatred…
But I was wrong.
I thought…
September 11 would be the perfect day, sunny and cheerful…
But I was wrong.
I thought…
Everyone loved and helped each other more after the attacks….
And I was right.

September 11, 2001
On September 11, 2001
the war on terrorism had just begun
many people died
and just as many cried
but the American spirit was held up in pride
3 buildings came roaring down
and all of them sadly crashed to the ground
the heroes who suffered during the horrifying crime
were brave and strong
as they managed to shine
the American ways are what we like best
and the patriot spirit was put to the test
the rescuers were praised and the flag was raised
September 11 changed everything
