2008 will be great!

PENNY WAR
Attention Akimel A-al Students and Staff - The Penny War ends tomorrow (Friday) at the end of the day.  If you haven’t brought in any pennies yet, now is the time!  Remember that any silver coins or paper money will count against your totals, so put those in another class’ containers.  (Just don’t interrupt them in the middle of class!)  Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to buy books for needy kids.  So empty out your pockets and bring it on in!

 

MULTICULTURAL FAIR

You don’t want to miss the AMS Multicultural next Thursday, February 21st!  There will be lots of entertainment and food.  Salsa dancers, step dancers, a fashion show featuring your teachers, Indian food, Chinese Food, Jamba Juice, Geri’s Snack Shack and much, much more!  It’s a fun evening for everyone!

 

BAND OF THE BANDS

If you are interested in doing Tech for the Battle of the Bands/ Improv Show, please see Ms. Jessup for your rehearsal schedule and important information.   Tickets for the Battle of the Bands are available for purchase in Ms. Jessup’s room for only $5!!!!

 

BOOK FAIR

The book fair has received its last shipment of over dozens of new popular books, such as Uglies, Tunnels, Twilight, New Moon, Anima #1, Spiderwick Chronicles, and more!  But beware, today is the last day of the Book Fair.  Stop by before its gone!
