PENNY WAR (read Thu & Fri)
Attention Akimel A-al Students and Staff - The Penny War ends tomorrow (Friday) at the end of the day. If you haven’t brought in any pennies yet, now is the time! Remember that any silver coins or paper money will count against your totals, so put those in another class’ containers. (Just don’t interrupt them in the middle of class!) Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to buy books for needy kids. So empty out your pockets and bring it on in!
NEW STUDENT PICTURES
New student pictures for 6th grade will be done on Thursday in the courtyard at the end of academic lab. New pictures for 7th graders will be on Tuesday, February 19 and pictures for new 8th graders will be on Thursday, February 21.
The AMS Multicultural Fair will be held next Thursday, February 21st , 5:00 pm. This is an evening full of entertainment, food and fun! We’ll have Polynesian dancers, salsa dancers, Ballet Folklorico, step dancers, a fashion show, mariachis, and Mr. Robinson from Team 6A will DJ! Food vendors will include Star of India, Mr. Chao’s Asian Bistro, Geri’s Snack Shack, gelato, Jamba Juice, and more. Join us for a fun evening. Bring your family. Bring your teachers!
