Ideas For Designing a Web Site

First page of the Web site should not scroll.

Design theme of all site pages should be similar.

Use images for a purpose.

If the web site is overly complicated by too many pictures, words or haphazard design the surfer will just move on in frustration.  It works on MTV, but not on the web.

Links should be obvious.

Old news:  fun, wild backgrounds

New news:  clean, simple backgrounds

Do not leave any spaces in naming a web file.

Do not use capital letters.
