The banner ad
manager is used to display a set of images in a series all in the same space.

The
Pictures |
| 1. Select three
pictures that illustrate your artifact for the page that are all
about the same size. Save all three in your images folder
inside your web.

| 2. To begin: you have
to prepare the pictures for the banner ad manager so they are the same exact
size.
3.
Go to Start:
Macromedia Studio: Fireworks MX
File: Open: Select 1st
image in your images folder
File: Open: Select
2nd image in your images folder
File: Open: Select
3rd image in your images folder

Select
Modify: Canvas: Image Size
5.
In
Pixel Dimensions type 200 as the width
6.
clear the check mark in the constrain proportions box so you can
change the height to 200 also. Illustrated below.
7.
Be sure the picture is clear and correctly shaped when you are finished.
8.
From File: Export Preview: Export
and save the resized image as image name 200x200 in your images
files in your web |
| Repeat the
steps 1-7 above for the 2nd and 3rd images. |
Inserting
pictures into the Banner Ad Manager
A.
Click where you want the pictures to display. From Insert:
Component: Banner Ad Manager B.
A dialogue box comes up. 
C.
Enter the dimensions width and height of the pictures you are using, 200
X 200 in this case. D.
Choose a transition effect. Also you can change the timing. E.
Click the Add button. In the image-file dialogue box choose the 1st
image. Click OK. F.
Click the Add button again to add the 2nd image. Click OK. G.
Then the 3rd image. Click
OK. H.
File: Save. Then click preview to see your work. You have to
save or the images will not appear.
