Choosing Colors for a Page

 

The link colors need to be easily visible and compliment your web site colors.

 

From the Format menu select Background.  This brings up the Page properties dialog box. 

 

 

 

 

In the Colors area

Text:  is the majority of typing on the page.

Hyperlink:  is the color the link is as one enters the website

Visited hyperlink:  is the color the link turns after the browser has visited the page.

Active hyperlink:  is often the same color as Hyperlink Text and is the color the link becomes as it is clicked in the browser.  

Note: this is also where you created you background  

Experiment with the site you have created and the background and pictures create coordinated colors.
