Using Freeplaymusic.com to save Music

Freeplaymusic.com contains thousands of music files without words. To save the file:
Center the mouse over the time of the song you wish to save.
Right click the mouse.  Save Target As: 
Move to your premiere file.  Leave the file name as it appears so you know what the song is.  Save.

 

Insert Music


orbSave the music file into the movie folder on your desktop.

orbIn the Get Media From view of the Media panel, access the audio file already in the movie folder on your desktop.

orbIn the Monitor panel, click the Go To Beginning button .

orbClick the Available Media button in the Media panel.

orbDrag the music file to the Soundtrack in the Sceneline. To start the music at the beginning of the movie, drag the audio clip all the way to the left.

 

Fade out music


orbIn the Sceneline, select the audio clip in the Soundtrack. In the Properties panel, click Fade Out . To hear the results, click the Go To Beginning button in the Monitor panel, and press the spacebar.


To trim an audio clip

orbIn the Soundtrack, move the pointer over the end of the clip, and drag.

orbYou can also split the sound clip by placing the playhead at the point you want to stop the sound. Select Split Clip in the monitor window. Click on the portion of the sound clip you want to delete and press delete on your keyboard.

 

To narrate a clip


Using your computer’s microphone, you can narrate clips while previewing them in the Monitor panel. Adobe Premiere Elements will add your narrations to the Narration sound track visible in either view of the My Project panel.


orbIn the task bar, click the Edit Movie button.


orbIn the Sceneline, select the clip you want to narrate.

orbThen, in the Monitor panel, drag the current-time indicator to the point at which you want the narration to begin.


orbIn the Timeline, drag the current-time indicator in the Timeline to the point at which you want the narration to begin.


orbIn the My Project panel, click the Add Narration button .


orbThe Record Voice Narration window appears.


orbIn the Record Voice Narration window, click the Mic Source button and select your sound device from the popup menu.


For best results, turn off your computer speakers to prevent feedback. Note: If your speakers are turned on, get as close to the microphone as possible, and keep the microphone as far away from the speakers as possible to prevent feedback.

orbTo monitor sound while you narrate, plug headphones into your computer and deselect Mute Audio while Recording. Speak into the microphone at a conversational volume, and raise or lower the Input Volume Level slider until your loudest words light up the orange part of the meters.


orbClick the Record button .
Near the top of the Record Voice Narration window, a timer appears next to Start Recording In. Wait while it counts down. When Start Recording In changes to Recording, speak your narration as the selected clip plays.


orbWhen you finish narrating, click the Stop button.


Adobe Premiere Elements adds an audio clip containing your narration to the Media panel and to the Narration track in the My Project panel.
Note: If you do not click the Stop button, Adobe Premiere Elements automatically stops recording at the start of the next file in the Narration track. If there is none, it stops 30 seconds past the end of the last clip in the My Project panel.


To preview your recording:

orbClick the Go To Previous Narration button . Then click the Play Present Narration button . Click the Pause button at any time to stop the preview.


To continue recording from the point at which you stopped:

orbClick the Record button again. This will overwrite any narrations already in the Narration track at that point.


In the Sceneline, a microphone icon appears beneath any clip you’ve narrated.
