Saving an Image

To Save the image: Right click with the mouse over the car. Select: Save Image As. Now move to your Images06: Fireworks and save the image.

In Fireworks:  File:  Open:  Select the car.png image from your Fireworks folder

Click on the magic wand pointer tool  and click on white parts of the car to select the fender. Now holding your Shift Key down select the rest of the car.

From Edit: Cut. The car should disappear

Click on the New Layer button in the Layers Panel. Call the layer car.

Be sure the car layer is highlighted in the Layers Panel. The layers is dark grey.

From Edit: Paste the car will reappear.

In the Properties select  Effects +: Shadow and Glow .  Choose Drop Shadow. Play with the other choices.
