Students will identify similarities and differences relating to theme, plot, setting, character, and point of view in literature from different cultures.

Students will read a variety of genre, including:

  • Poetry
  • Nonfiction
  • Realistic Fiction
  • Fiction
  • Fairy Tale
  • Play Scripts

FLUENCY

Students will:

  • Read with expression
  • Attend to punctuation
  • Read fluently 100 words per
