flies (some have shiny green, blue, red and gold color), aphids,
some mosquitoes, lots of bees including carpenter bees. The dogs

pools and lakes. Lizards are out climbing on walls.
Some dead birds have been seen in yards. Birds are building
nests in birdhouses and trees. There are more birds around
everywhere. The birds are singing and noisy in the mornings when
we leave our houses. Hummingbirds are around the fruit trees. One
student saw 4 around her trees. Other birds seen and heard are
hawks, vultures, doves, blue jays, seagulls, pigeons, cranes, an
owl eating a rat, cardinals, woodpecker, quail and crows. Empty
