The flowers are more colorful. Dandelion and buttercups are blooming everywhere. Saguaro cacti are beginning to get flowers.  Other cacti are also blooming. Many cacti have new buds. All trees and plants are showing new growth.

Animals: Ducks stopped in the backyard of a student's house. Two ducks were in another student's swimming pool. Another pair of ducks was out for a stroll on the sidewalk. Some of the bugs around include flies (some have shiny green, blue, red and gold color), aphids, some mosquitoes, lots of bees including carpenter bees. The dogs and cats are all shedding. A pet bunny is shedding. Even the horses are shedding.  Dead bugs are in swimming pools. Toads are hatching and swimming in pools and lakes. Lizards are out climbing on walls.  Some dead birds have been seen in yards. Birds are building nests in birdhouses and trees. There are more birds around everywhere.
