I had lots of fun this quarter in my reading class. I enjoyed three different activities. The first activity I enjoyed was starting the book the Forgotten Door. I liked writing questions and having discussion.
I had a lot of fun with this activity. I also enjoyed tasting apples. The kinds of apples we tasted were York, Jonagold, and Pacific Rose. My favorite was the Jonagold.
I had fun in reading comprehension. I liked some books better than others. I liked Mandy better than Once When I was scared.
These are some goals I want to set for second quarter: I want to set a goal for better spelling. To accomplish this goal, I will ask or look up the word to see if I have correct spelling. I want to answer questions better. I think I can accomplish this goal by not reading as fast and concentrating on the book. I want to set a goal for typing faster. To accomplish this goal I will practice at home and at school.
I hope I can enjoy second quarter just as well as first.
