Akimel A-al Region

Welcome to the  Kyrene Akimel A-al Middle School regional Safe Schools/Healthy Students website!  In August 2003, the U. S. Department of Education awarded the Kyrene School District a three-year demonstration grant referred to as the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative.  This award will enable the school district and its 25 schools the opportunity to expand the scope of the educational, prevention, intervention and support services it currently provides the children and families who reside in the Kyrene School District.  The regional  prevention supervisor for Akimel A-al is Natalie Knight.
