Curiosity

Lifeskills Make a Difference!

“Friendship Matters!”

Curiosity is a craving, a longing, a passion for knowledge.  It is innate in young children.  Curiosity guides us to learn about the world and its possibilities and limits, to discover what is fun and what is harmful, to practice old skills and experiment with new ones.  We know students are showing signs of curiosity when they:

· Relentlessly search for answers to questions

· Acknowledge an interest in many different topics

· Express wonder when observing an amazing accomplishment

· Observe the people, actions, and objects in their world
