Maloney’s materials:

 

I.  Two binders, 19 dividers, and six slash jackets: during Meet the Teacher, directions will be provided on how to put the binder systems together.

     A.  Binder system #1 for home to school travel—trapper        keeper or 3-ring binder

     B.   Binder system #2 for daily use in the classroom:  one 1-inch plastic binder

C.   nineteen dividers and six slash jackets (not folders)

 

II.  Pencil box: write student’s name on top/side of the pencil box. Please put all items below in the box; may want to label most of the items with student’s desk number. 

·        Colored pencils; all sharpened. 

·        Crayons

·        Markers

·        One big eraser

·        One pair of scissors

·        Glue or glue sticks

·        Pencils (traditional, #2.) Mechanical pencils are not acceptable for daily use, but students may use them for freetime, etc.

·        One plastic pencil sharpener – please make sure that it has a

self-containing box so shavings go in the box and not on the floor J

·        One calculator ---simple one.

·        Measuring tools: 

a. ruler (metric and standard---bendable ones are best so that they can fit in a pencil box). 

b. measuring tape---roll and paperclip

 

III.          Supplies needed for class donation: will post during

Curriculum Night.   If eager J, please donate one large

group snack and any scrapbook materials that you

can spare!
