The Cerritos Site Council was formed in 1995. It is composed of parents, teachers, a community member, and staff. The purpose of the Council is to collaboratively identify goals and strategies for the continuous improvement plan of the school.

Council Meetings are held monthly and the dates of those meetings are listed in the Beep Beep monthly.

Mission
The mission of the Cerritos Site Council is multi-faceted. The team serves as a forum for communications between students, parents, staff and community. The Cerritos Site Council (CSC) establishes school improvement goals and monitors progress towards these goals. As a cohesive unit, the CSC helps guide in making decisions, honors accomplishments, and facilitates future endeavors that enrich the school community.
