The Cerritos Exceptional Student Services department is built on
the foundation of acceptance, tolerance, and respect for all
students. We tailor our instructional programs to meet the
varying needs of our student population and embrace the
philosophy that all children enter a classroom at different places
on their developmental continuum. We promote inclusive practices
and provide a safe and accepting learning environment, one where
students can take risks and explore new ideas.
We challenge the students who need more academic challenges and
provide continued support to those students who need more
guidance and time to become their best selves.
