There are countless reasons why I am excited and proud to be a member of the Cerritos community. It is so magnificent to come to work each day to a school that is surrounded by beautiful desert mountains. Upon entering our school, it is obvious that we have a caring and committed staff. They welcome you with warm greetings and friendly smiles. Our teachers dedicate themselves to providing the best education for your child. Our school is filled with parents who volunteer their personal time to assist our teachers and provide support. This is truly a community that puts children first. You are just a few of the many reasons I enjoy coming to Cerritos every day.

After 30+ years in Arizona, I now consider myself a native. My husband, Buddy, is a Phoenix fireman. We have three beautiful children. Our oldest daughter, Erinn, is a 4th grade teacher in Chandler. Our son, Clinton, is at ASU. He is majoring in Communications. Our youngest daughter, Riley, is attending ASU. She claims that she’s not sure what she wants to do, but I have a feeling we’ll have another teacher in our family soon.

In my free time, I have fun shopping, entertaining and spending time with my family and friends. I especially enjoy being on a beach with a favorite book. Every year we try to get away to Rocky Point with a group of friends and their families. But, I sure do enjoy a snow skiing trip every so often, too.
