I have been teaching and working in the Kyrene School District for the past thirteen years as a teacher, student advisor, and administrator. I began my teaching career at C.I. Waggoner Elementary where I taught fourth grade for two years. In 1998 I transferred to Kyrene de los Cerritos where I spent the next six years teaching fifth grade. I always knew that some day I wanted to move into administration. After six years at Cerritos, I transferred to Kyrene Middle School to become the sixth grade student advisor and begin my career in administration.

During the 2006-2007 school year, I was at Kyrene Middle School for two years and than became the assistant principal at Kyrene de las Lomas. This is my second year as assistant principal at Cerritos. I am very excited to return to a school where I spent a majority of my teaching career at and with a staff that is dedicated to making every student at Cerritos successful.

I am an Arizona native. In my free time, I like to play golf, attend Arizona Cardinals football games, watch NASCAR races, read, and spend time with my wife who is also an assistant principal in the Kyrene School District.
