Welcome to Cerritos' Art Web-page! Grades 1-6 receive one 40-minute formal art lesson weekly. Cerritos uses a Discipline-Based approach to art education which includes Art History, Asthetics, Critique and Studio time.

Art units address State and National Standards, following a curriculum that integrates art with academics. Annual district and site art shows allow students to share their art with the community. At the end of the year, students make portfolios to take home all art work.
