Grades 1-5 receive one 40-minute formal art lesson each week.
Cerritos uses a "Discipline-Based" approach to art education.
Art History, Aesthetics, Critique and Studio time are all
included in art units. Portfolios are made at the end of the
year and after our annual art show, students take home their
art.
