Support Centennial Extra Curricular Activities and
Reduce Your Arizona State Taxes!!

What is a tax credit?

Several years ago, the Arizona State Legislature passed a tax law (ARS 43-1089.01) that allows up to a $300 tax credit for married couples filing jointly and $250 for individuals, who make a donation to a public school to support extra curricular activities. A tax credit is a dollar for dollar reduction of your tax liability.

Who can take advantage of this tax credit?

The law is set up so that any taxpayer may contribute to a public school, regardless of whether the taxpayer has a child attending school at Centennial. Corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships are not eligible for the tax credit. You must, however, be a taxpayer in the state of Arizona. The tax credit can be claimed on personal income tax returns only.

How can you take advantage of this tax credit?

Simply write a check made payable to Centennial Middle School. Mail or deliver the check to the Centennial office, attention our School Secretary, Elizabeth Reynoso. You will receive a receipt verifying your contribution to Centennial extra curricular activities. Receipts are given for contributions of $5.00 or more.
  1. Indicate on the check that the donation is for Centennial School.
  2. If you wish to donate the money towards a particular extra curricular activity, indicate that activity on the check. Donations may also be made to the Centennial General Extra Curricular Fund.
  3. You can also print and include the form below.
