This training provides an overview of the purpose of the IEP, who may participate in the IEP meeting, how to prepare for and participate in the IEP process.
Saturday, October 27, 2007 Parents as Advocates 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
The training includes information on effective communication, what to do when you disagree with the proposed program for the student and following the chain of command. The training focuses on why it is important to learn appropriate advocacy skills. |
