Each of these programs helps our school at NO extra cost to you:

 

Box Tops for Education offers 3 Ways to Earn money for our school:  (1)clipping Box Tops, (2) shopping at the Box Tops Marketplace, and (3)using the Box Tops Visa Card.  You can also help your child’s class earn rewards by turning Box Tops into your child’s classroom all year long!

 

Fry’s V.I.P. COOL CA$H Look for the “COOL CA$H Barcode” to be printed in our PTO Newsletter. Present the barcode and your V.I.P. Card to the Fry’s cashier.  The cashier will scan both, thus connecting your card to our school for the rest of the year!  

 

eScrip is another painless way to earn money for our school… just register any/all of your existing grocery, debit and credit cards for use in the program. Participating merchants (like Safeway, Eddie Bauer, Macy*s, Barnes & Noble, Office Max, & Circuit City) will make contributions to our school based on purchases you make using your registered cards.

 

Take Charge of Education Link your Target Visa to our school and 1% of your Target purchases and 1/2% of all other purchases made with your Target card will be donated to our school.

 

Labels for Education Campbell’s, Franco-American, Goldfish, Pace, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Simply Home, Swanson, and V8 products earn money for our school.  Turn in these labels, lids or UPC’s (see details) into your child’s classroom all year long!

 

Family Dinner Nights What if you could have someone else cook dinner for your family without making a mess in your kitchen, and raise money for our school at the same time?  You can just about every 3 weeks during the school year! (see calendar). Be sure to mention Monte Vista when you order and a percentage of each sale goes to Monte Vista.

Cookie Dough & Desserts: Back by popular demand, we will again be selling delicious Arizona Gold cookie dough and assorted frozen desserts at the lowest prices around between Nov. 2nd-15th.  Pickup will be on Dec. 6th. 

  

 

 

Scholastic Book Fairs:  When you purchase books, gift certificates, and gifts at our Fall Book Fair, we earn free books for our classrooms and programs AND 25% of every sale goes back to Monte Vista!

 

 

Other ways your PTO plans to raise money for our school this year:

 

Read-a-Thon:  (NEW!) 

Kids will use 1 week and a block of classroom time to read, and read, and read - all for the good of the school! Parents, neighbors, friends & family can sponsor their favorite readers as they raise money for a large portion of this year’s PTO budget. Kids will enjoy special snacks, themed posters tracking the school’s progress, and guest readers for story time.  We will have fun and promote learning— all with no selling or products to distribute.  If successful, we will be looking at the Read-a-Thon to continue to replace future sales fundraisers. 

 

Health&Wealth Style Raffle: With some hard work and generous donations from our local businesses and Monte Vista Community, we hope to make a success of our first Health&Wealth Style Raffle in the Spring.  If you (and a friend!) are interested in bringing your ideas, energy and talent to this important fundraiser, please contact our Chairperson to see how you can get involved.

 

Donations:  As a non-profit 501(c) 3 Organization, ALL donations — (equipment, merchandise, food/drinks, gift cards or cash) — made to the Kyrene Monte Vista PTO are fully tax-deductible.  Refer to our Donating Page for more information.

 

 

Fundraising enables us to enhance our children’s learning experience in a variety of ways – academic materials, books, classroom supplies, assemblies, campus enhancements, educational programs and more. Recognizing the different interests of Kyrene Monte Vista families, we offer a number of different fundraising opportunities. Participate in those that you’re interested in or able to; or you may choose to simply write a check payable to MVPTO, if finances allow. Either way, we appreciate your support and will put your contributions to good use.
