Help Needed for Fry
Bread Fundraiser
NAPAC (Native American Parent
Advisory Committee) will host their first fry bread sale of the
season on Friday, November 21st at the Kyrene de las Manitas Fall
Festival. We need volunteers and
donations! If you have food items to donate (i.e,
flour, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, shredded cheese, honey,
salsa) or you're willing to come lend a helping hand, please contact
Terry (480/783-4091)! If you're attending the event, please
remember to stop by and meet fellow community members!

MLB Arizona Fall League
Tickets Available!
The Southwestern Institute for the Education
of Native Americans (SIENA) generously donated a limited number of
tickets to Kyrene Indian Education for the Saturday, November 15th
Tribal Communities Event at the Peoria Sports Complex. The game
features Major League prospects from the Red Sox, Angels, Giants, Mets,
White Sox and Padres organizations. If you have a free afternoon and
would like tickets please contact

We advertise school events to establish a meeting place for us to find
each other first, then enjoy the event!
Grab the kids and meet other Native American families in front of the
school office (at the event's listed start time) - let's go together!
Esperanza Fall Carnival
When: Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: 14841 South 41st Place in Phoenix (between Ray &
Chandler off 40th Street)
Cost: Adults & children 3 and under FREE with canned food item for
donation.
Pre-sale tickets for kids 4
or older are $10; $15 on
the day of the carnival.
Sureņo Fall Festival
