NAPAC (Native American Parent
Advisory Committee) will host their first fry bread sale of the
season on this Friday, November 21st at the Kyrene de las Manitas Fall
Festival. We need
donations of your time or food items! Please see the
list below for food items to donate.
Or, if you can come lend a helping hand, please contact
Terry (480/783-4091)!

Sale

Where: Kyrene de las Manitas, 1201 West Courtney Lane in Tempe
Items needed include: Honey,
cinnamon, large cans of beans, large containers of oil, large bags of
lettuce, large bags of chopped tomatoes and onions, napkins, plastic
forks and aluminum foil sheets

2009 Native American
Student Artist Competition
The US Department of Education, Office of
Indian Education is excited to announce their 2009 Native American
Student Artist Competition is underway! This year's theme is "Tradition
is My Life, Education is My Future." Artwork and essays
must be postmarked by Friday, January 16, 2009.
