Giving Garden:

The Giving Garden is opening this week!  Did you know, that across the nation, teachers spend an average of $500 OF THEIR OWN MONEY in a school year to purchase supplies for their classrooms?  That's why the Monte Vista PTO brings you the Giving Garden this time of year.  Hanging on our Heritage Garden fence will be mittens labeled with an item from a classroom teacher, special area/special ed teacher and health office wish list.  To grant that wish, simply take the mitten, get the item on it, tape the mitten to that item, and bring or send it back to school before January 31st.  It's that simple!  ANY donation is MUCH APPRECIATED and the speech therapy dept. is in particular need of items this year.  Won't you consider giving?
