NEW SECTION - SPECIAL THANK YOU'S!

It's been shown that gratitude can lead to a happier life, so in the interest of promoting "the happy"at MonteVista, this new section has been created to send out thanks and call out some of the awesome folks that make our school community a very special place to be.  There's simply no way to recognize everyone and express how much your time and talents mean to our school, but we're going to try our best!  If you have someone you think deserves a special shout out of thanks for something they did within our school community, please send an email to mvpto@mvpto.org and let us know!

  • A HUGE thank you to the Overall Chair of the Spring Carnival Committee, Abigail Wool-Biringer and her amazing team of sub-committee chairs and volunteers!  Everyone on this team worked REALLY hard to create a fun family event on Saturday and it paid off!  Thank you to everyone who donated items for the auction/raffle and to those folks who bid on items and bought raffle tickets!  We made about $2500 and that money benefits our school community in numerous positive ways!
  • Thank you to Heidi Geibel, our Spirit Gear Chair, and Board Co-Secretary, for spear-heading the Spirit Shirt Design Contest! There were a lot of entries to sift through and we're so excited to see EJ's design on our new spirit shirts next year!
  • Much appreciation goes out to Young Joo Cha, Shelli Davenport, Deanna Shah, Brandy Cino, DJ Fenstermaker and the rest of the yearbook committee for their hard work and dedication to documenting our year at Monte Vista!  They've worked year-round to take photos from every event, documented memories, sifted through submissions and edited and re-edited our yearbook to put together an amazing keepsake of the 2016-2017 term!
  • Many thanks to the Project Brainpower team, Rebecca Paterson and Candy Chatawanich, for taking on the huge task of providing snacks to our students as they participate in standardized testing this month.  The snacks they provide help students stay focused and energized throughout their testing periods!
