Kyrene Aligns with Tempe Union High School
District
(Posted 11/29//06)
The Kyrene School Board unanimously adopted a rollover calendar that
aligns with the recently adopted Tempe Union High School District calendar
with the exception of two days, staff development day and the last day of
school. The Kyrene School District calendar was adopted for two-years,
2007-2008 and 2008-2009, with the provision to amend the 2008-2009
calendar if a tri-district calendar team recommends a common calendar
prior to November 30, 2007.

Open Enrollment Families Invited to
Continue
(Posted 11/29/06)
Kyrene School District is honored that families outside the boundary
lines chose our schools for their children's education. These families,
their children and all siblings are invited to continue their education in
Kyrene for the 2007-2008 school year. Unless notified by the family,
schools will assume that their open enrollment students will continue into
the next school year. For families that have siblings who will attend
kindergarten, information will be available in January for kindergarten
registration.
If you have any questions or concerns about
open enrollment, please call the Community Relations Department Open
Enrollment Specialist at 480/783-4177.

review the State of Arizona’s School District Redistricting Commission’s
proposed recommendations for unifying Kyrene School District into a K-12
district as well as provide input and comments.
Community dialogs presented by the
Kyrene
Elementary School District administrators and board members are scheduled
on the following dates:

6:00pm, November 6 – Kyrene Akimel A-al Middle School,
Media
Center
-
4:00pm, November 27 – Kyrene Aprende Middle School,
