Adding Text

The cookie cutter tool allows you to crop your picture in a variety of shapes.

Select the type tool from the toolbar at left.

The type tool option appears above.

The text appears on a new layer.
To edit text, double click on the text layer icon in the layers pallette.

A. Font Options

Font Style

Font Size

B. Font Style

Bold

Italicize

Underline

Strikethrough

C. Text Alignment

Left Align

Center

Right Align

D. Leading

Changes the spacing between the characters.

E. Font Color
Click on the square of color to view the color picker.
Click on the drop down to view color swatches

F. Warp Text and Text Direction

The warp options allow you to change the shape of your text.

Warp Text Example:

G. Commit or Cancel
To apply the changes to the text click on the green check mark. To cancel the changes, click the red icon.

Adding Layer Styles

Makes sure the text layer is selected in the layers palette and and select layer styles from the effects palette.

Select style types from the dropdown list.
Double click on the style.

Editing Text

To edit text, double click on the text layer icon in the layers palette.
