The Kyrene Administrators
Committee has helped to establish an Administrators Sick Leave Bank or
ASLB to provide administrators facing catastrophic circumstances an
opportunity to access ACA time. A participating administrator may receive hours from
the ASLB for seriously incapacitating or extended personal injury or
illness to self or family. This is a valuable benefit that is
administered by employees for employees!
Participation is on a voluntary basis with
employees who wish to participate initially contributing unused ACA to the
ASLB equal to: 16 hours of ACA for .75 through 1.0 FTE or 8 hoursof ACA
for a .74 or less FTE. This benefit is not intended to replace salary.
Employees not participating in previous years may enroll in the ASLB upon
signing a contract of any succeeding year, or through September 30th of
each contract year.
