Club Leader in Training
Part time & Full time
$7.65 - $8.40/hour
No Benefits

With specific direction and supervision, Club Leaders in Training assist in preparing for and facilitating children's enrichment activities in the Kids Club programs. Duties include maintaining a safe and healthy atmosphere, setting up rooms and preparing for activities, facilitating activities, monitoring children's behavior, and cleaning up after activities.  Club Leaders in Training are guided in support and preparation of children's activities, and interacting positively with parents and/or guardians, children and co-workers.

Formal and on-the-job training will be provided. Applicant must be 16 years of age or older, be willing to learn and take direction, have good communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in children.

Club Leader
Part time & Full time
$8.65 - $10.15/hour

Responsible for assisting in preparing and facilitating children's enrichment activities in the Kids Club programs. Duties include designing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment, preparing and setting up rooms for activities, facilitating activities, monitoring children's behavior, cleaning up after activities, assisting in creating and planning for children's activities and interacting positively with children, parents and/or guardians and co-workers.

Applicant must provide documentation of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) and six months of experience working with children or combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, as listed above. Incumbents must be 18 years of age or older.

Instructional Lead
Part time & Full time
$10.60-10.90/hour
Benefits

Responsible for providing classroom assistance/instruction, under the direction of the Program Coordinator and Specialist, for children. Duties may include: assisting with the preparation of developmentally appropriate daily lesson plans using instructional materials, creative ideas, and available supplies and materials; supervising activities and monitoring children's behavior to ensure safety and appropriateness; interaction with parents and/or guardians either in person or over the phone.

Applicant must provide documentation of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.), 12 college-credit-hours in child development or early education, and one year of experience working either in a school or working with children ages 3 - 5, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.  Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

Program Specialist

Full Time

$11.90-12.20/hour

Responsible for assisting in coordination of daily operations for programs for up to 175 children.  Also responsible for assisting to establish and maintain a nurturing, safe environment, as well as organizing and monitoring children’s activities.  Duties include facilitating activity-planning meetings, inventorying and ordering materials and supplies, developing and scheduling children's daily activities, communicating information to parents through memos and newsletters, mentoring and training Club Leaders/Club Leaders in Training and assigning and monitoring the work of Club Leaders/Club Leaders in Training.  Extensive training and professional development opportunities provided.

Applicant must provide documentation of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.). In addition applicant must have completed course work in a childcare program with one year of experience working with children, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Incumbents must be 21 years of age or older.

Program Coordinator
Full Time

$15.55-15.95/hour

Responsible for coordinating, managing and organizing daily site operations for up to 175 children.  Also responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, as well as monitoring children's activities, and for providing leadership and supervision for site staff.  Also responsible for providing training and development opportunities for assigned staff.  Duties include maintaining licensure with DHS, facilitating activity-planning meetings, inventorying and ordering materials and supplies, developing and scheduling children's daily activities, communicating information to parents through memos and newsletters, mentoring and providing trainings for Club Leaders and assigning and monitoring the work of Club Leaders.  Extensive training and professional development opportunities provided.

Applicant must provide documentation of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.). In addition, applicant must have completed some course work in a childcare program with two years of experience working with children, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Incumbents must be 21 years of age or older and meet all requirements for "Directors" as listed by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Program Supervisor
Full Time - salaried/exempt
Benefits

Administrative position overseeing all Kyrene Kids Club Programs. Responsible for the supervision and training of Program Coordinators, ensure all staff comply with all KSD Governing Board Policies, develop and manage the budget of the entire Kids Club program, and create and maintain program-wide procedures/policies.  Required skills and experience: budgeting, program evaluation and development, staffing, knowledge of state and federal guidelines, organizational management, some experience in curriculum development, and experience supervising multiple childcare sites.  Prefer BA/BS or equivalent in management experience plus 3 years experience in field.  Superior skills are required in communicate with staff, parents, and community members.
