What is the Kyrene Career Ladder Program? The Kyrene
Career Ladder Program represents an effort by the Arizona State
Legislature to improve the quality of teaching and learning in our public
schools and to attract and retain quality teachers by providing additional
compensation, mentoring and staff development for teachers.
The Kyrene School District has received direct funding from this program
since 1985. Participating districts
must meet criteria set by the legislature.
The program is administered by the Arizona Department of Education.

addenda (direct compensation ranges from approximately $1,000 to $5,500) based

establishing support for quality classroom assessment ·
