Community Relations

The Kyrene Community Relation team provides the following services for the Kyrene School District:

Community Outreach and Promotions

From coordinating presentations at local organizations to promoting Kyrene at expos and community events, Community Relations is responsible for sharing the Kyrene message with current and potential Kyrene families and community supporters.

Media and Public Relations

Media inquiries regarding the District should be directed to Community Relations. In addition, Community Relations will distribute articles, press releases, and media advisories to promote District and school events, programs, and initiatives.  »Visit our Media Coverage page

Marketing

Community Relations develops, writes, edits, designs, and produces a variety of printed and electronic materials that share the Kyrene message with the community. This includes, but is not limited to, brochures, public information packets, annual reports, promotional videos and more. Community Relations provides editorial oversight over District marketing and outreach material, ensuring that the District communicates with the community in a consistent and professional manner. Kyrene promotes a variety of its innovative and unique programs and services, such as Summer Academy, Kids Club, Open Enrollment, etc., through advertising in local media outlets.

Kyrene Schools Community Foundation (KSCF)

The Kyrene Schools Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization (KSCF), is an independently operated community foundation whose sole purpose is to advance the educational process for students enrolled in Kyrene. The Foundation was petitioned to formally establish a program of assistance to families facing difficult times.

Publications

District publications, such as The Insider and Kyrene Communicates, are written, edited, and produced by Community Relations, which also oversees content of certain sections of the Kyrene Web site and its e-mail communications.
