Community Relations
The Kyrene Community Relation team provides the following services for the Kyrene School District:
Advertising
Kyrene promotes a variety of its innovative and unique programs and services, such as All-Day Kindergarten, Summer Academy, Kids Club, Open Enrollment, etc., through advertising in local media outlets.
Business Partnerships
Kyrene School District’s Business and Community Partnership Program provides community members, businesses and civic leaders an avenue to support the District, through financial and in-kind donations. These partnerships assist the District in continuing the quality programs that make Kyrene School District a premier educational institution.
Community Outreach and Promotions
From coordinating presentations at local organizations to promoting Kyrene at expos and community events, Community Relations is responsible for sharing the Kyrene message with current and potential Kyrene families and community supporters.
Marketing and outreach collateral
Community Relations develops, writes, edits, designs, and produces a variety of printed and electronic materials that share the Kyrene message with the community. This includes, but is not limited to, brochures, public information packets, annual reports, promotional videos and more. Community Relations provides editorial oversight over District marketing and outreach material, ensuring that the District communicates with the community in a consistent and professional manner.
Media and public relations
Media inquiries regarding the District should be directed to Communications. In addition, Community Relations will distribute articles, press releases, and media advisories to promote District and school events, programs, and initiatives. Visit our News Page (PDF formats)
Publications
District publications, such as The Insider and The Communicator, are written, edited, and produced by Communications, which also oversees content of certain sections of the Kyrene Web site and its e-mail communications.
