Tax Credits for Athletics Participation
State law allows Arizonans to contribute up to $400 to public schools
for extra curricular activities and then deduct that amount directly
from their state income taxes through a tax credit. Tax credit
donations fund a variety of programs including: character education,
extracurricular activities, fine arts, and athletics.
Each time your child participates in an eligible program your fee
pays you back in the form of a tax credit that you may submit with your
Arizona state tax return.
All athletic programs are
tax credit eligible!
