Kyrene Elementary and Middle Schools Middle Schools Our middle schools provide a rigorous and challenging core curriculum and an exploratory program where student choose additional courses in the arts, music, Spanish and physical education. Students are placed in small learning communities, where they benefit from a team of four highly-qualified teachers. Students receive 68 minutes of daily instruction in language arts, math, science and social science. The curriculum is hands-on and integrated with technology. Students daily use laptops, projectors, and a document camera which are incorporated within the lessons. There is a strong interscholastic athletics program and opportunities for clubs, fine arts and character education.
