Kyrene Kindergarten Program
Enroll in our Kindergarten and Help Your Child Excel
Our kindergarten program offers a challenging and comprehensive curriculum to ensure that your child will receive the individualized attention needed to excel. Your child will receive the foundation for lifelong learning when enrolled in our Kindergarten program.
Highlights of the program are:

Free Full-Day Kindergarten is
available at all Kyrene schools and is offered to all children
residing in and outside Kyrene School District.
Half-Day Kindergarten for next school year (2008-09) will be offered at selected sites. Information for this will be available in January 2008.
Childcare is available on site both before and after
school. Some locations have Kyrene Kids Club ― voted the best multi-site
program in the state! (Arizona School-Age Coalition 2006).
Register early because spaces fill quickly.

Enrollment Process
In-district enrollment. Families wishing to attend their home school can enroll directly at the school. You will need your child’s birth certificate, immunization records and a proof of residence.
During the summer, enrollments are taken at the District Office.

Out of district open enrollment. Families applying to Kyrene School District that do not reside within the District’s boundaries must enroll through open enrollment. » Open enrollment
Early Entrance
For admission to kindergarten, we recommend that
children be five years old before September 1 of the current school
year.
Children who are born between September 1 and December 31 may apply for early entrance. Informational meetings must be attended in order to apply.
