ABOUT THE CLASS

Each Drama Exploratory class meets one period a day on an A/B schedule.  Important concepts learned through the study and practice of Drama can enhance academic learning and help develop essential life skills.  Most work is completed in class and basic supplies are provided.  If needed, a progress report will be sent home at mid-term. The final grade is determined by participation in:  1) theater exercises and improvisations involving actors and crew,  2) critiques, 3) written assignments, and 4) tests.

ABOUT MS. KARCZ

My past teaching experiences include 6th grade self-contained, 7th grade Language Arts/Social Studies and K-8 Art.  I particularly enjoy working with middle school students and teaching Drama enables me to incorporate my keen interests in writing, art, music, literature, and, of course, theater!
