Hi!  My name is Cindi Petera and I teach third, fourth, and fifth gifted resource in the areas of math and language.  This is my ninth year teaching gifted at Milenio. my first at Ninos, and my fourteenth year teaching gifted in the Kyrene district.   I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Elementary Education and have my Masters Degree from Northern Arizona University. I am also considered highly qualified under the No Child Left Behind Act and have an early childhood and SEI endorsement.

I live in Tempe and have three wonderful children.  Maryn is 25 and  graduated from ASU with a degree in Kinesiology.  She is coaching gymnastics and is now in Nursing School.  Kyle is 21, attends MCC and works for UPS.  Dayne is 15 and is a sophomore at Corona High School.  I love to read, swim, hike, and have coffee with my friends.  One of my passions is crewing and sculling on Tempe Town Lake, where you will find me rowing at least two nights a week.  I recently became a certified SCUBA diver.
